As the Purple Tie Committee has been working to plan our Dinner for the 2nd year, a question we have often been asked is “Why can’t you have it on Campus?”While there have been many reasons why putting on this event at Saint Joe over the last two years would have been a challenge, this is something we had always planned on doing at some point in the future as we worked on the fundraising and renovations needed to make that possible. Originally, we thought that with a little luck, it would happen for our 3rd annual dinner in 2020.
But with a number of recent successful events occurring back on our Campus this Spring, the Committee began discussing that perhaps, with a little extra push, if it would be possible to accelerate our timetable.
And… after much work by the Staff at Saint Joe, The Purple Tie Committee, and our growing number of Volunteers, we are proud to announce that this year’s Purple Time Dinner will be held right here in Rensselaer on the Saint Joe Campus.
Yes. The Purple Tie is Coming Home. The Time is Right. And the Time is Now.
And remember, all proceeds from the Purple Tie Dinner will be going to support continued efforts to renovate our facilities. Results of those renovations are already beginning to make regular activity in Collegeville possible once again, including allowing us to bring the Purple Time Dinner Home. So, your ticket purchases and your involvement this year will continue to move us down that path.
